Krista Ketcham, M.Ed., LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with over ten years’ experience working with children, adolescents and families. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and a went on to complete her Master of Education, specializing in Counseling and Play Therapy at the University of North Texas as well. Krista has worked as a clinical therapist in a variety of settings. Her experience includes working for a local non-profit agency focusing on children and families impacted by domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault, as well as working for a large pediatric hospital in the Dallas area on the inpatient psychiatric unit. She has also been in private practice since 2005. Areas of specialty are anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders and abuse/sexual assault. Other special interests include play therapy, family therapy and sand tray therapy. Accepts most major insurance.
