A recent addition to the physician team at Lakeside Life Center, Dr. Tae Lee comes to us from U.T. Southwestern. Dr. Lee grew up in Wichita Falls, TX and completed his undergraduate education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Midwestern State University. Following that Dr. Lee obtained his medical degree from U.T. Southwestern. Dr. Lee’s clinical training in adult psychiatry was at John Peter Smith Hospital, Fort Worth, TX, and Parkland Hospital, Dallas, TX. Following his training in adult psychiatry, Dr. Lee was a fellow at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where he had the opportunity to serve as the chief resident in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program.
Away from his clinical duties Dr. Lee enjoys speaking about mental illness in the community and has given several talks about Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety disorders, and the use of medication in children. Dr. Lee also continues to participate in clinical research and is faculty at U.T. Southwestern where he is currently involved with depression research in children.
Personal interests include: Playing baseball and softball as well as studying the history and cultures of Asia and the West.
