Meet the Doctors

Nishendu M. Vasavada, M.D.

For over 40 years, Nishendu M. Vasavada, M.D. has provided the best care for every patient at Lakeside Life Center. As a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Dr. Vasavada has made significant contributions to the psychiatric community. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and holds certifications in Addiction Medicine from ASAM and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. His support in the local community spans from volunteer clinical research to administrative work as a Medical Director in various psychiatric hospitals and outpatient programs.

Dr. Vasavada approaches every patient’s mental health care with the understanding that one-size-does-not-fit-all. He surrounds himself with a group of independent, superb, therapists who do good work. He remains dedicated to the evaluation and management of patients. Dr. Vasavada was voted as one of D Magazine’s “Top Docs”.

Tae Y. Lee, M.D.

Dr. Tae Lee is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who has been practicing in the DFW area for over ten years. Dr. Lee obtained his medical degree from U.T. Southwestern. Dr. Lee’s clinical training in adult psychiatry was at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX. Following his training in adult psychiatry, Dr. Lee was a fellow at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where he had the opportunity to serve as the Chief Resident in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program.
